COLLECTION NOTES
HOLIDAY PICK-UP SCHEDULE, HOW IT WORKS!
The following holiday pick-up schedule is observed. Service is not provided on the days these holidays are observed. Your regularly scheduled collection day is Thursday, therefore, when one of the following holidays is on or observed on a weekday your collection will be moved to the following day.
- New Year's Day
- Memorial Day
- Fourth of July
- Labor Day
- Thanksgiving Day
- Christmas Day
ENVIRONMENTAL ALERT
As of January 1, 2012 specified electronics will be banned from landfills in the State of Illinois. As a result of this change in the law the Village's residential refuse and recycling collection program will no longer be able to accept these electronic items set out for disposal.
