FALL LEAF COLLECTION
The Village of Villa Park will offer a free leaf collection service from October 22 to December 7th. Through these dates, residents may dispose of an unlimited number of yard waste paper bags of leaves without the need for waste disposal stickers.
If leaves are not placed in yard waste paper bags, they will require a sticker.
Brush must be tied in bundles, no longer than four feet and no larger than 18 inches in diameter. No limbs over four inches in diameter will be accepted. Yard waste stickers are not required for the disposal of brush bundles.
Leaves will be collected at the time of your regular garbage pickup.
HOLIDAY PICKUP SCHEDULE
The following holiday pickup schedule is observed. Service is not provided on the days these holidays are observed. Therefore, if a holiday falls on Monday or is observed on Monday, collection will be moved to the following day.
- New Year’s Day
- Memorial Day
- Fourth of July
- Labor Day
- Thanksgiving Day
- Christmas Day
ALERT: CHRISTMAS TREE COLLECTION
Trees will be collected on the second and third week of January. Trees will be recycled, so please ensure all ornaments and lights have been removed and not in a plastic bag.

Specified electronics are banned from landfills in the State of Illinois. As a result, the Village’s refuse and recycling collection program cannot accept these electronic items set out for disposal. To assist residents and the community’s local businesses, the Village has coordinated with Roy Strom to offer a convenient and free electronic disposal solution. The drop-off site will be open on the third Saturday of every month, from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM in the Village Hall parking lot, located at 20 S. Ardmore Ave. This free service is only available to Villa Park residents. Please have your ID ready.
